Once upon a time, there was a very special cloud named Coti. She wasn’t like the other clouds in the sky. While the others floated peacefully or rained water when needed, Coti had a curious hobby: she loved to look for people who didn’t carry umbrellas when it started to rain.
Coti was a fluffy white cloud, shaped like cotton candy, but what stood out most about her was her laugh. She was always laughing, moving her little cloud arms and legs as if they were dancing. When she saw someone walking without an umbrella beneath her, she got so excited that she would start going “plic plic ploc” right over that person. It was her favorite way to play!
One day, Coti decided to explore the city to find someone without an umbrella. She floated through the sky until she reached the park. There, she saw a boy named Juan playing with his ball. Juan ran, laughed, and seemed very happy. But… oh, surprise! He didn’t have an umbrella.
“How lucky!” said Coti, thrilled. “This is my perfect chance!”
Without thinking twice, Coti let a few drops fall onto Juan’s head. The boy looked up, felt the drops on his nose, and started laughing.
“It’s raining right on top of me!” Juan said, amused. “How funny!”
Coti also laughed from the sky. She loved it when people enjoyed her rain instead of getting upset.
After playing with Juan, Coti kept floating around the city. Soon, she arrived at a street full of shops. There, she saw an elderly woman carrying shopping bags. The woman didn’t have an umbrella either.
“Another perfect person for my game!” exclaimed Coti.
Right away, she dropped a few drops on the woman. But this time, something unexpected happened. Instead of laughing, the woman frowned and said:
“Oh no! My hair is going to get wet.”
Coti felt a little sad. She didn’t want anyone to be in a bad mood because of her. So, quickly, she decided to do something special. With a little bit of cloud magic, she made a small rainbow shine above the woman. When the woman saw it, she smiled and said:
“How beautiful! I think I like the rain after all.”
Coti jumped for joy in the sky. She loved making people laugh!
She kept floating and arrived at a square where a group of children was drawing with chalk on the ground. None of them had umbrellas. Coti thought, “This will be the best fun of the day!”
She started to rain gently on the children. But instead of getting upset, they began to dance and sing in the rain. One of the kids shouted:
“Thank you, funny cloud! This is super fun!”
Coti felt so happy that she decided to give them an extra surprise. The rain stopped, and instead, she made small cotton candy flakes fall from the sky. The children clapped excitedly as they ate the sweets.
At the end of the day, Coti was tired but happy. She had managed to make many people laugh and had learned something important: not everyone liked getting wet, but she could always find a way to make them smile.
From then on, every time Coti saw someone without an umbrella, she decided whether to play with water droplets, create a rainbow, or even drop something sweet from the sky. And so, the funny cloud remained everyone’s favorite in the city.
And you, what would you do if you met Coti? Would you like to dance in her rain or taste her magical cotton candy?
