El Conejo que Quería Tocar la Luna

The Rabbit Who Wanted to Touch the Moon 🐰🌕

*Reading Time: 2 minutes

In a meadow filled with yellow flowers and fresh grass, there lived a rabbit named Sam. He had fur as soft as cotton and bright eyes that gazed at the sky every night. Sam dreamed of touching the moon, which looked like a cheese ball hanging over the mountains. Each night, he leaped higher and higher, but no matter how hard he tried, the moon remained out of reach.

“Why can’t I get there?” Sam wondered, panting after a failed leap.

One day, while resting under an oak tree, his wise owl friend spoke to him in a calm voice:

“Sam, the moon is very high. But if you want, we can help you.”

“How?” asked the rabbit, his ears twitching with excitement.

The owl called to a stork flying nearby.

“She knows the secret of the clouds,” said the owl.

The stork swooped down and explained:

“Clouds are fluffy and can be stacked like blocks. If we build a tower, you might get closer.”

“Let’s try!” cried Sam, hopping with joy.

Together, they began to work. The owl used his wings to gather small clouds, the stork stacked them one on top of the other with her long beak, and Sam pressed them gently with his paws to keep them steady. The tower grew slowly but steadily.

“We’re almost there!” Sam shouted, climbing cloud by cloud.

When the tower was finally complete, it was so tall it touched the stars. Sam climbed to the top, feeling the cold night air. He stretched his little paws… but the moon was still far away.

“It’s not enough!” he said, sad.

Then, the moon, who had been watching everything, spoke to him in a soft voice:

“Little Sam, you don’t need to touch me to admire me. From the earth, your dream-filled gaze makes me shine brighter.”

Sam stood still, gazing at the moon closer than ever before. The clouds in the tower began to glow, reflecting its silvery light. It was beautiful!

“Look!” said the stork. “Now you have your own moon in the clouds.”

The rabbit smiled. He had discovered something important: you don’t need to touch the moon to feel its magic. Every night, from his cloud tower, he could watch it shine as if it were part of him.

The owl gave him one final piece of advice:

“Dreams sometimes come true in ways we never imagine. What matters is not giving up and enjoying the journey.”

And so, Sam kept jumping—not to touch the moon, but to build new cloud towers with his friends. He learned that dreaming is fun, and sharing adventures is even better.

End. 🐰🌕
