El Misterio de la Luna Escondida

The Mystery of the Hidden Moon 🌙

*Reading Time: 3 minutes

One night, when little Bruno went out to look at the sky from his cabin in the woods, something strange caught his eye. The moon, which always shone like a giant lantern over the treetops, was gone. Bruno frowned and adjusted his cap. He loved to see the moon before going to sleep, but that night the sky seemed empty.

Worried, he decided to look for it. He took his lantern and went out into the woods. The leaves crunched under his feet as he walked slowly, illuminating every corner with his light. The forest was dark without the moon, but Bruno wasn’t afraid. He was brave and knew he would find answers.

As he searched, he saw a small light flickering near some bushes. He approached it and discovered that it was a sad firefly. Its lights flickered slowly, as if it were tired.

“Hello,” Bruno said. “Why are you so dull?”

The firefly sighed and replied:

“It’s just that the moon is hiding behind a cloud. It says it feels lonely and doesn’t want to come out.”

Bruno’s eyes widened.

“Oh no! The moon must never feel lonely. We have to help it!”

The firefly lit up a little more.

“Do you think we can do something?”

“Of course we can!” Bruno replied with determination. “If the moon is sad because it feels lonely, we can organize a party to keep it company. That way it will know how many friends want to see it shine.”

The firefly liked the idea, and together they began to look for help in the forest. Soon they found a rabbit that was jumping between the bushes.

“Rabbit!” Bruno called. “Do you want to help us organize a party for the moon?”

The rabbit wiggled its long ears and smiled.

“Of course! I can bring carrots to share.”

Then they came across a squirrel who was saving acorns in his burrow.

“Squirrel!” said Bruno. “We need your help for the moon party.”

The squirrel put down his acorns and asked excitedly,

“What can I do?”

“You can help us hang decorations on the trees,” replied Bruno.

The squirrel clapped his paws and ran off to find shiny leaves and flowers to decorate.

Up ahead, they found an owl who was awake on his branch.

“Owl!” shouted Bruno. “Will you help us organize a moon party?”

The owl blinked and replied in a sleepy voice,

“Of course. I can sing a nice song for the moon.”

Everyone was excited. Bruno, the firefly, the rabbit, the squirrel, and the owl worked together to prepare the party. They hung garlands of leaves and flowers on the trees, put piles of carrots and sweet berries on the ground, and practiced a special song for the moon.

When everything was ready, Bruno looked up at the sky.

“Moon!” he shouted at the top of his lungs. “We know you’re there behind that cloud! You’re not alone. All your friends are here with you.”

At first, nothing happened. But little by little, the cloud began to move. First there was a small silver glow, then a bigger one. Finally, the moon appeared full and radiant, illuminating the entire forest.

“Surprise!” all the animals shouted at the same time.

The moon smiled from the sky. She had never seen such a beautiful party made just for her. The animals danced, sang, and laughed under her light. The moon felt very loved and understood that she was never alone, because every night there was someone in the world who admired her.

Since then, the moon always shines in the sky, remembering that special night in the forest. And Bruno, together with his friends, continues to organize night parties to enjoy its light.

This is how little Bruno and the forest animals taught the moon that there is always someone who wants to see it shine. Since then, every time they looked at the sky, they remembered the adventure and the magic of helping each other.
