In a bright and tranquil lagoon, surrounded by green trees and wildflowers, lived a group of very special fish. They were small, colorful, and always swam together. But these fish weren’t like the others: they were mischievous and full of ideas for having fun.
One day, while swimming near the shore, they saw a fisherman arrive with his rod and bucket. The fish quickly hid behind some rocks at the bottom of the lagoon.
“Oh no!” said Bubbles, the smallest and most curious fish in the group. “He wants to catch us!”
But Stripes, the cleverest fish with yellow stripes on his body, smiled and said:
“Don’t worry. I have an idea to keep him from catching us. We just need to be smarter and have a little fun.”
And so, the fish began planning pranks to confuse the fishermen. Every time someone came with a fishing rod, they worked together to pull off their tricks.
The first time a fisherman cast his hook, Bubbles and his friends tied long strands of seaweed around the fishing line. When the fisherman tried to reel in his rod, all he got was a bunch of wet seaweed. The man looked surprised and muttered:
“How strange! I swear there was something on the hook.”
Another time, when another fisherman arrived, Stripes had another idea. All the fish began swimming in fast circles just below the hook. They created small waves on the surface that made the float on the rod move as if something was biting it. Excited, the fisherman pulled the line, but found nothing at the end.
“This is great!” laughed Bubbles, as all the fish happily swam in circles underwater.
One of their favorite pranks was when Shadow, the black fish who could camouflage perfectly, swam slowly near the hook and gently nudged it with his nose. The fisherman thought he had caught a huge fish, but when he reeled in the line, he discovered there was nothing there.
Over time, the fishermen began talking among themselves about the mysterious lagoon where they could never catch any fish.
“It’s like the fish know what we’re doing,” one of them said, scratching his head.
“Yes, I think this lagoon is enchanted,” another replied, half-jokingly.
The fish listened to these conversations from below and laughed so hard that bubbles rose to the surface. They knew their pranks were working and that they were safe thanks to their cleverness and teamwork.
One day, Bubbles asked Stripes:
“Do you think the fishermen will ever stop coming?”
Stripes replied:
“Maybe not, but as long as we keep helping each other and using our ideas, we’ll always be protected. Besides, it’s much more fun to play pranks than to be scared.”
And so it was. The fish continued to live happily in Blue Lagoon, enjoying their games and pranks. They learned that working together and using creativity could solve any problem.
End. 🐠
