The Star Whale πŸ‹βœ¨

In the deep blue ocean, where sunlight barely reaches, lived Marina, a humpback whale with a voice so sweet it made the corals dance. But Marina had a secret: while other whales dreamed of schools of fish, she dreamed of the sky.

Every night, Marina would rise to the surface and spend hours watching the Moon. "It's like a giant pearl," she thought. "What does space smell like? Are the stars as cold as the winter water?".

β€”Whales belong to the sea, Marina β€”her grandfather would tell herβ€”. The sky is for birds and astronauts.

But Marina didn't give up. She started practicing her jumps. She jumped higher than anyone, pushing herself with her powerful tail, trying to touch even a little bit of that silver light. The dolphins laughed: β€”Marina, no matter how much you jump, the Moon is thousands of knots away!

One summer night, the sea was so calm it looked like a mirror. The reflection of the stars was so clear that you couldn't tell where the water ended and the sky began. Marina saw the Moon right below her, reflected in a current of stillness.

At that moment, a group of thousands of glowing jellyfish rose to the surface, creating a path of silver light. Marina took a deep breath from the depths, closed her eyes, and jumped with all her might.

As she jumped, the jellyfish lit up the air around her, and for a second, Marina felt like she was floating in the black void dotted with diamonds. The silence was absolute, just like in space.

When she splashed back into the water with a great roar, Marina was smiling. She hadn't reached the physical Moon, but she had discovered that the sky and the sea are siblings. Since then, Marina sings songs about galaxies and comets, and all the whales in the ocean stop to listen to the story of the whale who touched the stars.

The end. πŸ‹πŸŒŒ
