The Guardian of Sweet Valley 🍭🌳

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Tobi who had a very special map. It wasn't a map of pirate treasures, but a map that smelled like vanilla and strawberry. Following that sweet scent, Tobi arrived one day at a place hidden behind the Cookie Mountains: Sweet Valley.

Upon entering, Tobi couldn't believe his eyes. The trees had licorice trunks and canopies made of soft pink cotton candy. The clouds were giant marshmallows floating in a violet sky, and through the center of the valley ran a river of thick, shiny chocolate.

—It's paradise! —Tobi exclaimed, running towards a lollipop bush.

Tobi began to eat and save everything he could in his pockets. "This is just for me," he thought. "If anyone else finds out, they'll eat it all." But the more Tobi saved, the sadder the valley became. The chocolate river moved slower, and the cotton candy on the trees began to lose its shine.

Suddenly, a small creature made of honey candy appeared. It was the Guardian of the Valley. —Why do you save so much, little Tobi? —it asked with a sweet voice—. Sweet Valley only shines when joy is shared.

Tobi looked at his full pockets and then at the valley that was starting to fade. He realized he didn't enjoy the sweets if he was alone and worried about hiding them.

Then, Tobi took out the lollipops and candies and put them on a large rock so all the little forest animals could try them. He invited the Guardian to sit with him by the chocolate river.

At that instant, the valley burst into colors. The marshmallow clouds released a rain of colorful sprinkles and the river began to sing again. Tobi learned that a shared sweet tastes twice as good, and from that day on, he was named the Guest Guardian, in charge of making sure no one in the valley ever felt alone or hungry.
